The Veira is an East Timorese river in the administrative office of Iliomar ( Lautém municipality ).

The Veira rises as Vatatina in the north of the Sucos Fuat . It initially flows south, but then swings to the east. From this point on it is called Veira. A short time later it swings south again, enters the Suco Iliomar I and makes another turn to the south-east, until it finally swings again to the south shortly before its confluence with the Timor Sea .
