Vejen Municipality was a Danish municipality in what was then the Ribe Office in Jutland until December 2006 . Since January 2007 it has been part of the new Vejen municipality together with the municipalities of Rødding , Brørup and Holsted .

Vejen Municipality was re-established as part of the administrative reform of 1970 and included the following localities: Vejen , Andst , Andst Stationsby , Bække , Askov , Gesten .
