Until December 2006, Ølgod Municipality was a Danish municipality in what was then the Ribe Office in Jutland . Since January 2007 it has been part of the new Varde municipality together with the “old” Varde Municipality , Blaabjerg Municipality , Helle Municipality (excluding Grimstrup ) and Blåvandshuk Municipality .
