Ølgod is a place in the west of the Danish Jutland . The place belonging to the Varde municipality has 3827 inhabitants (as of January 1st, 2020). The name of the place is derived from the old Danish words aluh and god and roughly means sanctuary of God . The landscape around Ølgod is characterized by the heather and agriculture.
