Velimir Ilić

Velimir Ilić (born May 28, 1951 in Čačak , Federal People's Republic of Yugoslavia ) is a Serbian politician of the Nova Srbija party .

Life

Ilić studied at the University of Belgrade and the University of Kragujevac . In 1990 he joined the Serbian party Srpski Pokret Obnove . He later moved to the Serbian party Nova Srbija . From 1996 to 2004 Ilić was mayor of Čačak . From 2004 to 2008 he was Minister of Economic Investment in Serbia. As the successor to Ivica Dačić , he became Minister of Construction and Urban Development in Serbia in 2012. He was married three times and has one child from the first marriage and two children from the second and third marriage.
