history
In 1944 the first wooden observation tower was built on the mountain, which only existed for a short time and burned down in 1946. His successor overturned in 1972. After the laying of the foundation stone on June 23, 2002, the construction of a new tower, jointly supported by the Slovak and Czech sides, began in 2004, which was inaugurated on July 16, 2005. It is 22 meters high and, like its predecessors, is a wooden structure. The construction costs were about 2 million crowns. 101 steps lead to the viewing platform at a height of 20 m.
The mountain is used for paragliding on the Slovak side .
