Venantia Otto

Venantia Otto (born October 22, 1987 in Windhoek , South West Africa ) is a Namibian photo model .

Life

2006 Otto won the South African Sun City election to the Face of Africa ( German  Face of Africa ), one of the most important beauty contests of the continent. She was able to prevail against a total of 6000 candidates from 12 countries. Besides the title brought her this success also 10,000 US dollars and a doped with $ 150,000 three-year modeling contract with the agency Elite Model in New York one.

Before being chosen as the face of Africa, Venantia Otto had no modeling experience. After Benvinda Mudenge, she is the second winner of the model competition from Namibia that has been taking place since 1998.

Filmography

In addition, she took on a leading role in the film Nama by Christoph Ebner , which was first presented to the public in Windhoek in April 2008. In May 2008 the film was shown at the Cannes International Film Festival .
