Veniero Colasanti

Veniero Colasanti (* 21st July 1910 in Rome ; † 3. June 1996 ) was an Italian stage and costume designer long narrow, the many years with John Moore worked.

Colasanti was nominated in 1962 - together with John Moore - for an Oscar in the category Best Production Design for the film El Cid . In 1968 he and his partner were invited by the Salzburg Festival to design the equipment for the Rappresentatione di Anima, et di Corpo , followed by Jedermann in 1973 and Der Rosenkavalier in 1978 . The rap presentations remained on the program of the Festival until 1973, and the Jedermann equipment could be seen every year until 1989.
