Ventosa is one of 11 parroquias in the municipality of Candamo in the autonomous region of Asturias in Spain .
The traditional livelihood of the Parroquia is livestock.
Ventosa can be reached via the AS-227 and the FEVE .
The parish church of the village is dedicated to St. John (Iglesia Parroquial de San Juan de Ventosa). In addition to the patronage festival on June 24th (Fiesta de San Juan), the candle festival (Fiesta de Las Candelas) is celebrated on February 2nd and the “Fiesta de La Magdalena” in La Mafalla on June 22nd.
