Venturino Venturi

Venturino Venturi (born April 6, 1918 in Loro Ciuffenna , † 2002 ibid) was an Italian painter and sculptor .

Life

Venturi won first prize in the competition to design Collodi's Pinocchio Park in the 1950s. His works include numerous stone and metal sculptures and public monuments in Tuscany . In the Museo Venturino Venturi, named after him, in his birthplace, numerous pictures and drawings by him are on display, including six Pinocchio pictures from 1958 and 1959.
