Vera Simon (* 1973 near Danmarkshavn , Greenland ) is an author of Lebenshilfe books.

Life

Vera Simon spent the first four years of her life in Danmarkshavn , Greenland , where her father and family found work as an engineer for an oil production company exploring new oil fields. In 1977 they moved back to Germany with their parents, where their father worked as a senior engineer in one of the large refineries in Ingolstadt . After graduating from high school and a trip to South America, she took a volunteer position at a small newspaper in the Baden region.

During her work as a volunteer , she met the director of Pattloch Verlag , who wanted her to write a poetry gift book (“What I like about you”), which sold successfully.

Vera Simon lives today with her husband and their two children Berit and Marc in the Markgräflerland . She has two brothers.
