The Association of Austrian Newspapers (VÖZ) is an industry organization founded in 1946 for the publishers of 55 newspapers and magazines in Austria. In addition to representing political interests, the activities of the association include cross-company marketing, the function of an employers' association and participation in the definition of advertising media standards.

In cooperation with the Ministry of Education and the school authorities, the association is responsible for newspapers in schools , one of the largest reading promotion projects in Austria. Markus Mair ( Styria Media Group ) has been the honorary association president since 2018 . Gerald Grünberger has been the full-time managing director since 2006 . The association is a member of the European publishers' associations ENPA and EMMA as well as the international WAN-IFRA World Association of Newspapers and News Publishers .
