Association of Japanese-German Societies

The Association of Japanese-German Societies ( Japanese 全国日 独 協会 連 合 会 , zenkoku nichi-doku kyōkai rengōkai , short: VJDG) is the umbrella organization of the Japanese-German Societies (JDG) in Japan. It has more than 50 members (as of April 2008). The umbrella organization was founded in 1988 with the Japanese-German Society Tokyo as its chairman.

The society with the largest number of members within the VJDG is JDG Tokyo , which also holds the chair. The deputy chairpersons are JDG Hokkaidō , JDG Nagoya , JDG West Japan, JDG Gumma , JDG Tochigi , JDG Toyohashi and JDG Kobe .

The German counterpart is the Association of German-Japanese Societies (VDJG) as the umbrella organization of the German-Japanese Societies (DJG).
