The Association of Independent Motor Vehicle Experts e. V. (VFK) is a German professional and industry association.

history

The association was founded in 1994, operates nationwide and is an independent association that represents the interests of experts , vehicle experts and vehicle appraisers vis-à-vis third parties. Another primary task of the VFK is the placement of vehicle appraisers and vehicle experts to companies, private individuals, authorities and courts.

tasks

The VFK brings together state-recognized vehicle experts and vehicle experts, publicly appointed and sworn experts as well as qualified independent experts and appraisers.

The experts of the FEC provide advice to authorities , business , industry and trade as well as for private consumers , courts and prosecutors' offices . Before they are accepted into the role of expert, the association will check their qualifications and professional experience. Membership of the association can therefore only be made by people who can provide evidence of their special professional qualifications. As a rule, these are only people who have completed a course of study or specialist training.

Members who have a special professional qualification can contact the Association of Freelance Motor Vehicle Experts e. V. received a certification certificate according to the VFK standard with the designation "certified expert".

Certified experts must provide additional evidence of qualification, including at least five years of professional experience.

The VFK e. V. issued certificates and expert certificates are valid for two years. In the event of an extension, the further training qualifications must be proven.
