Germanization
Germanization ( verb : to Germanize ) describes the inclusion of a foreign object in the culture of the German- speaking area .
Linguistic aspect
With German Renaissance humanism , Germanization initially meant the general German translation of texts from the classical languages. The term became popular in the 16th century through the book title of Luther's translation of the Bible into German ( Biblia: Dat ys De gantze Hillige Schrifft / Vordüdeschet dorch D. Mart. Luth. ).
