Verena Breitenbach
Verena Breitenbach (* 1963 in Ehingen an der Donau ) is a German doctor , author and speaker . She appeared on television, radio and print media as an expert on health issues, predominantly on gynecology issues.
Life
Verena Breitenbach studied human medicine in Ulm, at the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore (USA), at the Guy's and Hammersmith Hospital in London (England) and at the teaching hospital in St. Gallen (Switzerland). She passed a US state examination and received her PhD in 1990.
The specialist training for gynecology and obstetrics took place at the university women's clinic of the LMU, Munich and at the academic teaching hospital of the Technical University of Munich. From 1996, Breitenbach completed additional training in cytology , oncology , laboratory medicine, psychosomatics , naturopathic and relaxation methods. Since 2001 she has been practicing as a resident gynecologist in Ehingen near Ulm with a focus on holistic medicine , naturopathy , homeopathy , psychosomatic medicine, relaxation methods, oncology, cytodiagnostics and a sexual medicine consultation.
Media presence
Verena Breitenbach has also been present in the media since 2002 thanks to the ProSieben format of the same name . Appearances as an expert in magazines of various radio and TV stations followed. She wrote columns and articles in the specialist press (including "Ärztezeitung", "Gynäkologische Praxis", Munich Medical Week ") and in popular magazines (including" Eltern "," Freund "," Glamor "," Bunte "and" BILD ").
