Verena Münker

Verena Münker (* 2. February 1988 in Wesel as Verena van der Linde ) is a German dressage rider from Wesel.

Verena Münker is the daughter of the equestrian Monika and Antonius van der Linde and the sister of the dressage rider Carolin van der Linde. In March 2018 she married Tobias Münker.

Career

In 2000 she was able to win the Liselott Rheinberger Young Talent Award in pony dressage riders. This was followed by two placements at the Rhenish and German youth championships.

When he switched to the big horse, the collaboration with riding master Johann Hinnemann began. With her horse Mitchell, Münker was accepted into the national junior squad. In 2005 she won the Rhenish Junior Championships and in 2006 was German runner-up. In the same year she took part with the German selection at the European Championships in the Austrian Stadl-Paura and was able to win the silver medal in the team and individual competitions.

In 2007 Münker switched to the young rider class. Together with Kristina Bröring-Sprehe , she won the silver medal at the European Championships in Nussloch .

Münker is the holder of the golden riding badge.
