Verena Sierra

Verena Sierra (née Schneider, born September 30, 1978 ) is a German radio presenter and editor .

Life

Sierra grew up in Saarland and studied Hispanic and American studies at Saarland University . She has been married since summer 2010.

She began her career in 1999 with the start of the channel Our thing and moderated there a. a. the morning show "Beauty and the Freak". After a fluent in-house move to SR 1 Europawelle , where she u. a. was heard in the afternoon, she will present “Der Morgen im Saarland” there from the beginning of 2007 to June 2011 with Christian Balser as one of two early teams. There she was u. a. responsible for tabloid topics, weather and her favorite football topic. She was on maternity leave from mid-2011 to mid-2012. Since her return, she has been moderating her morning show "Verenas Welt" from Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. There she alternates with her moderator colleagues Thomas Rosch ("colleague Rosch") and Joachim Meyer ("Mensch Meyer").

Since summer 2008 Verena Sierra can also be seen alternately in the weather at the end of the current report on SR TV . Since 2018 Verena Sierra has been hosting the program Mit Herz am Herd together with the chef Cliff Hämmerle .
