Põhiseaduse Pilsner
Põhiseaduse Pilsner (Eng .: Verfassungspils ) is a brand of beer brewed by the Estonian brewery A. Le Coq to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Estonian Constitution in 2007 and launched with the help of the Estonian Ministry of Justice. The beer is a bottom-fermented light lager with an alcohol content of 4.2%.
The rival company Saku Õlletehas has criticized the process on the grounds that Pils is too cheap a beer to be associated with the constitution . The head of the Estonian Beer Society ( Eesti Õlleliit ), Cardo Remmel, expressed his lack of understanding for the position of Saku etlletehas ' and endorsed the idea of raising awareness of the constitution with a beer brand. The daily paper Eesti Päevaleht pointed out the duplicity of statements made by Saku , who has had a Presidendi Pilsner in its range for several years .
