Constitutional referendum in Dahomey 1964

The constitutional referendum in Dahomey 1964 took place on January 5, 1964.

The main contents of the constitutional amendment were the change of the system of government to a presidential system , the lifting of the term limits for the president and the introduction of a unicameral parliament .

The turnout was 92.1%, 1,051,614 voters were registered.
