At the constitutional referendum in Kazakhstan in 1995 , the citizens of Kazakhstan were called on August 30, 1995 to vote on the new constitution of Kazakhstan . A large majority of the population voted for the adoption of the new constitution.

"Do you accept the new constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the first draft of which was published in the press in August 1995?"
