Referendum in Kazakhstan 1995

The 1995 referendum in Kazakhstan took place on April 29, 1995. The citizens of Kazakhstan were called upon to vote on extending the term of office of the previous President Nursultan Nazarbayev until the end of 2000 without an election. A large majority of the population voted for Nazarbayev's term of office to be extended.

The question was as follows:

«Согласны ли Вы продлить до 1 декабря 2000 года срок полномочий Президента Республики Казахстан Н.А. Назарбаева, всенародно избранного 1 декабря 1991 года? »

"Do you agree to an extension of the term of office of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan NA Nazarbayev, who was elected by the people on December 1, 1991, to December 1, 2000?"
