Verity Harte
Verity Harte (born April 2, 1968 ) is a British philosopher and historian of philosophy .
Life
She studied Classics and Philosophy at Cambridge , where she completed her BA (Classics) and MPhil and PhD ( Philosophy ). She held research fellowships at St Edmund Hall , Cambridge and St Hilda's College, Oxford, and was a lecturer and then lecturer in philosophy at King's College London before moving to Yale University in 2006 , where she was the George A. Saden Professor of Philosophy and Classics teaches both in the Department of Philosophy and in the Department of Classics.
She is a specialist in ancient philosophy with particular research interests in ancient metaphysics, epistemology, and psychology, especially those of Plato and Aristotle .
