Verkehrsgemeinschaft Landkreis Schaumburg
The Verkehrsgemeinschaft Landkreis Schaumburg (VLS) is a corporate group for local public transport in the Schaumburg district . A common tariff only exists for bus transport, in rail transport (including S-Bahn Hanover ) the DB local transport tariff applies. The Lower Saxony ticket is not recognized in bus transport .
However, the regional tariff of the Verkehrsverbund Großraum-Verkehr Hannover (GVH) offers a continuous network tariff for season ticket holders from the district of Schaumburg in the direction of Hanover . Transitional tariffs for train traffic towards North Rhine-Westphalia from the Westfalentarif TeutoOWL network tariff are only available for the city of Rinteln .
