The publishing house Andreas Reiffer was founded in 2000 in Braunschweig . The Social Beat literary magazine SUBH, which had existed since 1993, was published there until 2004 . With the book magazine The Punchliner , an annual retrospective of the German-speaking reading stage and poetry slam scene was published from 2004 to 2013 .

So far, around 100 titles have been published by Andreas Reiffer. In addition to volumes of prose and novels, there is a well-received series of specialist ice hockey books, a series on (pop) music culture with books about the Wacken Open Air and the Burg Herzberg Festival , about bands such as Turbonegro and Sandow , coloring books with the original covers of Heavy metal records. In addition, one or two titles are published each year that deal with south-east Lower Saxony - most recently a book with regional Christmas stories and an anthology on 500 years of literature from Braunschweig. The publisher has been responsible for the "SW Pratajev Library" with translations and secondary literature since 2004.
