Presentation of the Student Academy Awards 2017
The 44th Student Academy Awards ceremony was held at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills on October 12, 2017 . The awards were presented by actors Joel Edgerton , Lucy Liu , Daisy Ridley and Parker Sawyers . The winners had already been announced on September 13, 2017, but in some categories not whether they would receive the award in gold, silver or bronze.
In August 2017, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced that the KHM film Annunciation of Halit Ruhat Yildiz as a finalist in the category of foreign narrative film Best was nominated for a student Oscar.
