In the agreed administrative community Gerabronn (also agreed administrative community of the city of Gerabronn or administrative community Gerabronn-Langenburg ) in the Baden-Württemberg district of Schwäbisch Hall , two cities have come together to carry out their administrative business. The seat of the administrative community is in the city of Gerabronn ( fulfilling municipality ).

Member municipalities

Members of this administrative community created by a public law agreement are:

  • City of Gerabronn , 4270 inhabitants, 40.38 km²
  • City of Langenburg , 1831 inhabitants, 31.4 km²

Structure and tasks

A joint committee made up of representatives of the municipalities involved decides on the fulfillment tasks. The chairman of the joint committee is the mayor of the fulfilling municipality (Gerabronn). The "agreed administrative community" is not itself legally competent , as it is not a corporation under public law and therefore also not a community association . The agreed administrative community was formed on the basis of §§ 59 ff. GO in conjunction with § 25 of the law on municipal cooperation. The scope of the assigned tasks of the agreed administrative community determines § 61 of the Baden-Württemberg municipal code .
