In 1980 the court had eleven chambers, two of which were moved to Giessen , which in 1987 became the Giessen Administrative Court . In 1988 they moved into a new building in Mühlgasse . Parts of the old rheumatism clinic from the years 1870 to 1915 were integrated in the building. Since December 1, 2009, the court has been housed in the new justice center on Mainzer Strasse.
