Vetlesen Prize
The Vetlesen Prize is an award in geophysics and geology from the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory at Columbia University . It is named after the Norwegian entrepreneur and philanthropist Georg Unger Vetlesen (1889–1959), whose foundation finances the award.
