The Vetterstein is a rocky outcrop in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Usarp Mountains it rises north of Mount Toogood on the south side of the head end of the Edwards Glacier .
Scientists of the German expedition GANOVEX I (1979–1980) made his name. It is named after the German geologist Ulrich Vetter from the Federal Institute for Geosciences and Natural Resources , who was involved in this research trip.
