Faithful to Vi alvar

Vi alvar is a burial ground west of the main road 136, in the parish (socken) Källa in the north of the Swedish Baltic Sea island Öland .

There are a number of stone circles here from Iron Age " Fröböke-type dolmens " ( Järnålder dös in Swedish ). They consist of round stones (bouldering), which mostly rest on three small stones. The National Database of Ancient Monuments (FMIS) lists 33 Iron Age dolmens for Sweden. The dimensions of the blocks or boulders are about 85-95 centimeters in height, 55-75 centimeters in width and 20-30 centimeters in thickness, so that they only form a small interior space below. Often one of the sides, usually the south side, is accessible. The burial ground also contains Treudds and four-sided stone settings from the Iron Age (400–650 AD)
