Victor Alejandro Corral Mantilla

Victor Alejandro Corral Mantilla (born February 17, 1936 in Guayaquil ) is the former bishop of Riobamba .

Life

Victor Alejandro Corral Mantilla was ordained a priest on July 15, 1960 . On January 14, 1982, John Paul II named him auxiliary bishop in Riobamba and titular bishop of Gummi in Proconsulari .

The Bishop of Latacunga , José Mario Ruiz Navas , consecrated him bishop on February 14 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Leonidas Eduardo Proaño Villalba , Bishop of Riobamba, and Antonio José González Zumárraga , Coadjutor Archbishop of Quito .

On September 4, 1987, he was appointed Bishop of Riobamba. Pope Benedict XVI accepted his age-related resignation on February 28, 2011.
