Julio Parrilla Díaz
Julio Parrilla Díaz (born March 25, 1946 in Orense ) is Bishop of Riobamba .
Life
Julio Parrilla Díaz joined the Order of the Salesians of Don Bosco and was ordained a priest on March 30, 1975 . He was incardinated in the clergy of the Diocese of Salamanca in 1981 .
Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on April 18, 2008 Bishop of Loja . He was ordained bishop by the Apostolic Nuncio in Ecuador , Giacomo Guido Ottonello , on June 5 of the same year; Co- consecrators were Raúl Eduardo Vela Chiriboga , Archbishop of Quito , and Antonio Arregui Yarza , Archbishop of Guayaquil .
On January 12, 2013 Benedict XVI called him. as Bishop of Riobamba and he was instituted on March 2 of the same year.
