Victor Martinez
Víctor Martínez (born July 29, 1973 in Duarte (province) , Dominican Republic ), also known as "DD - Dominican Dominator" , is a Dominican professional bodybuilder of the International Federation of Bodybuilding & Fitness . He is the second Dominican to gain a professional license in bodybuilding.
life and career
In his professional career, Martinez managed to get into the top 3 position in the Mr. Olympia competition twice . He won the Arnold Classic twice. He lives and trains in New York .
At the end of 2011 Martinez was arrested at the airport in the USA after his return from the Arnold Classic in Madrid, which he won, and was in custody for 7 months. During this time he is believed to have lost 70 lbs (32 kg) in weight. After his release, it was declared that a suspended sentence from 2004 led to a disagreement with the renewal of his green card . He was released on April 27, 2012, and his previously planned deportation was canceled. Martinez previously had problems with the law in 2007 when he was a suspect in an anabolic steroids trafficking case.
