Vic Seixas
Elias Victor "Vic" Seixas junior. (Born August 30, 1923 in Philadelphia ) is a retired American tennis player .
In his career he won 15 titles in grand slam tournaments in singles, doubles and mixed. The greatest successes of the serve and volleyball player were the victories in the men's singles in 1953 at Wimbledon and the men's singles in 1954 at the US Open .
Seixas was one of the few successful tennis players of the 1950s who did not switch to the pros.
