Victor Whitsey
Hubert Victor Whitsey (born November 21, 1916 - December 25, 1987 ) was a British Anglican bishop . He was Bishop of Chester from 1974 to 1981 .
After his training he was vicar ( curate ) in Chorley in the county of Lancashire . Then he was pastor ( vicar ) in Farington . In 1971 he became a suffragan bishop in the Church of England as Bishop of Hertford . In 1974 he became Bishop of Chester . As such, he was from 1978 to 1981 as a spiritual lord member of the House of Lords .
