Victoria Herrmann (* 1969 in East Berlin ) is a German television presenter.

biography

Victoria Herrmann was discovered in 1987 at a fashion show in the Berlin Palace of the Republic . As a result, at the age of 17 she was given the opportunity to present the youth program klik once a month on GDR television . At the same time she was training as a business clerk. In September 1989 she took over the moderation of the GDR youth program ELF99 , which received the Bambi in 1990 . Victoria Herrmann moderated the program until 1993, which was broadcast first on RTL and later on VOX after the fall of the Berlin Wall .

In 1993 she had her own radio broadcast on the Berlin broadcaster 94.3 rs.2, which she moderated until 1996. In the same year she presented the program Saturday on RTL and VOX , the successor format to ELF99.

This was followed by moderation of the weekly MDR travel magazine Einfach raus , the NDR entertainment show Mardi Gras in the north and the entertainment program Long Saturday - the evening of your choice . From 1998 to 2003 she also moderated ten editions of the Festival des Deutschen Schlagers from Radio Bremen , which was broadcast in the first and third programs, together with Roberto Blanco . From 2000 to 2003 she presented the country show MusiCity USA , for which she received the Media Award of the German American Country Music Federation in 2004 .

From 2002 to 2018 she hosted LexiTV , a popular science television program on the MDR. The program was broadcast every working day and was dedicated to a specific topic. Mixed topics, so-called adventure programs, were also possible. The show received the 2003 Grimme Online Awards in the TV category for the show's website.

Victoria Herrmann is committed to socially disadvantaged children in Chemnitz . She lives on the Baltic Sea and has a son.
