Victory's Short ( French : La Victoire est de courte durée ) is a French short film ( black comedy ) from 2014 , directed by Mika'ela Fisher . Victory's Short premiered in Milan on October 16, 2015 .

The film is predominantly supported by dialogues. The black and white photography and the scene image reminiscent of a Hitchcock - film of the 1950s.

action

The film is structured like a chamber play ; Gabrielle Montvignier and her husband discuss their "married life" over a midnight dinner. The action takes place in the salon of a gloomy castle. The characters match those of the Addams Family . At the beginning it is revealed that Montvignier wants to poison his wife. After a 15-minute cynical play on words , the film ends with some unexpected surprises.

Publication and awards

The film was first shown at the Cannes International Film Festival in May 2014. It was also screened at the Milan International Film Festival 2015 (MIFF) on October 16, 2015. There the film received a nomination in the category of international short films up to 15 minutes .

It will celebrate its cinema premiere in France on December 16, 2015 .
