Singles & Music Videos

With the single Sommer, Liebe, Kokain , accents were set again for the new album. Music videos were produced for the single and the song Kinder der Nacht , in which Callejon can be seen playing songs. In the video Children of the Night , the five members of Callejon are shown painted with clowns in black and white, with different patterns on their faces. In the video for the single Sommer, Liebe, Kokain , Callejon is shown in a studio while they are playing the song. In between, a kind of human / robot appears again and again, which becomes more and more active in the course of the video and destroys the studio with laser beams. In both videos, there is a lot of play with lighting effects and rapid image changes.

reception

The album was in the top 50 in Germany for 1 week at number 31 in the album charts and was well rated by many critics. Andreas Schulz wrote in his review: And so with hits like "Kinder der Nacht" or the title track you feel compelled to either mosh wildly or to sing along to the singalong refrains. The guys then add a whole spike of hardness to "Immergrün" or the lyrically coarser "Sexmachine", in contrast to quieter, melancholy tracks like "Mondfinsternis" (including "Ohohoh" listening) or the dynamic ejector "Gott" is dead". Convincing with creative puns: "This song affects you" or the "summer, love, cocaine" accounting for the allegation of commercialization. And in spite of the somewhat garish coloring, the album cover is also a lot more successful than the previous "Zombie Action Headquarters".

The blogspanagazine writes: " Callejon means“ alley ”from Spanish, but the four members of the metalcore band of the same name don't end up there. Rather, they storm from zero to two in the newcomer charts of media control - and are with“ Videodrom ” the highest newcomers of the week (April 14, 2010). ".
