Vidmantas Kapučinskas
Vidmantas Kapučinskas (born March 5, 1951 in Joniškis ) is a Lithuanian musician, conductor and social democratic politician from Panevėžys .
Life
In 1983 he graduated from the Lithuanian Conservatory . Since 1991 he has directed the Panevėžys Chamber Orchestra and since 1993 the Panevėžys Music Theater . From 1980 to 1994 he taught at the Panevėžys Conservatory . He organizes the international pianist festival “ Mes skrendam ”, the summer festival “ Ant Katedros laiptų ” and the festival “ Laisvės pavasaris ”.
In 2007 and 2011 he was elected to the Panevėžys City Council. Since 2001 he has been a member of the Lietuvos socialdemokratų partija .
Kapučinskas is married. He has a daughter and a son with his wife Asta.
