Vienna Brass
Vienna Brass is an Austrian brass quintet founded in 1986 .
The quintet has set itself the goal of drawing attention and a broad impact to contemporary compositions through extraordinary performances. Through stylistic diversity, wide areas of music from all epochs are to be covered in an interpretation appropriate to the ensemble.
In July 1990 Vienna Brass was appointed to the jury of the “International Competition for Brass Quintet and Horn Quartet” in Gmünd , Lower Austria . In 2004 Vienna Brass played the opening concert of the “New Halls” in the Wiener Musikverein .
