The Vierdup , also Vierup or Veerp , was an old Emden grain measure .

  • 1 Vierdup = 2 cubic feet (hanoveraner) = 1 3/5 himten (hanoveraner) = 49.84265 liters
  • 1 load = 60 quadruple
  • 1 jug = 1/36 Veerp = 1.3845 liters (as a liquid measure)
  • 1 load = 15 tons = 30 sacks = 60 Vierdup = 120 bushels = 240 kegs = 216 jugs / kroes / krues
  • 1 Vierup = 36 jugs
  • 1 Vierup = 2382.5 Parisian cubic inches , also 2804 Parisian cubic inches in other regions
