Vierseithof Altwahnsdorf 44 (Radebeul)
The four-sided farm Altwahnsdorf 44 is located in the Wahnsdorf district of the Saxon town of Radebeul , east of the Angers, where Reichenberger Strasse branches off from Altwahnsdorf to the north.
description
The cultural monument is referred to in the list of monuments as a three-sided courtyard and in the monument topography as a four-sided courtyard because of the ancillary building on the street front next to the gate .
From the gate system, the rectangular farm is delimited by two hook-shaped building structures. On the left side in the direction of Anger and Feld stands the elongated and simply plastered house with two storeys, a tile-roofed gable roof and formerly with vine trellises, facing the street Altwahnsdorf . In the two-axis gable wall there is an arched twin window at the top of the gable . Another, somewhat shorter building with two storeys follows the residential building. Adjacent to this is the mighty, listed barn with a gable roof, which borders the courtyard at the rear.
To the right of the gate there is a small, single-storey annex building with the side building with Kumthalle, which is also listed as a historical monument , the gable roof of which runs towards Altwahnsdorf . This building is set at right angles to the gable-side Kumthalle , which stands on the two alignment lines of the street corner and forms the boundary to Reichenberger Straße roughly the length of the house. In the courtyard wall of the Kumthalle there are two arched openings with keystones, one of which has a horse relief. The coupled openings are supported in the middle by a sandstone column. The access to the courtyard on Reichenberger Strasse that remains between the Kumthalle and the barn is blocked by walls and low functional buildings.
history
The entire complex was built in the early to mid-19th century. The barn was renovated in 1899 by the owner Gottlieb Türke. After a fire caused by arson in August 1913, the destroyed barn was rebuilt by the farm owner Otto Türke according to a design by the builder Alwin Höhne . These events are recorded on an inscription plaque.
