The Evangelical Church of the Fourteen Holy Helpers is in the Langenberg district of the city of Gera in Thuringia .

history

The tower ground floor was in the 12./13. Century built. The late Gothic choir was added in 1467 , and the church was consecrated in 1491 . The late Gothic silver altar dates from this time . In 1502 the 60 meter high choir tower was rebuilt or rebuilt.

The redesign of the nave , begun in 1750, was completed in 1754. The spacious hall , the choir, the buttresses, the walled-up pointed arch portal and a relief with the painter and two angels give, among other features, an insight into the history of art and the house of God.

In 1927 the silver background was restored . The last renovation took place from 1984 to 1985.
