Ann Curry

Ann Curry (born November 19, 1956 in Guam ) is an American journalist and news anchor .

Life

During her childhood she lived in Japan for a few years. Her family later moved to Ashland , Oregon , and she attended Ashland High School . She studied journalism at the University of Oregon . Curry worked as a television presenter for the television program Today Show from 1997 to 2012 and from 2005 to 2011 for the television program Dateline NBC . Since 2011 she has hosted the television program Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade . Curry is married to Brian Ross and has two children. She lives with her family in New Canaan , Connecticut .
