The Vignegletscher is located in the southern Karakoram in the Pakistani special territory of Gilgit-Baltistan .
The 14 km long glacier is located in the northeastern Masherbrum Mountains . It has its nutrient area on the western flank of the 7668 m high Chogolisa . It flows in an arc initially to the west, later to the north around the ridge of the Khumul Gri ( 6851 m ). The Prupoo Brakka ( 6870 m ) rises to the south . In the west lies the Gondogoro La , a 5614 m high transition to the Gondogoro Glacier . The Vignegletscher reaches a width of 1.4 km in the lower part. It finally flows east of Miter Peak into the Upper Baltoro Glacier , which shortly afterwards joins the Godwin-Austen Glacier at Concordiaplatz to form the Baltoro Glacier.
The glacier was named after the British explorer Godfrey Thomas Vigne (1801–1863).
