The Gondogoro La is a pass crossing in the Masherbrum Mountains in the Karakoram .
The glaciated 5614 m high pass leads from the Vignegletscher in the northeast to the Gondogoro Glacier in the southwest . It forms an important exit from the Baltoro region and Concordiaplatz with the surrounding seven and eight-thousanders to the Hushetal in the south .
Crossing Gondogoro La is associated with climbing and the risk of avalanches . The pass is used by high mountain mountaineers as well as organized trekking tours. It is mostly done from north to south. The pass offers a panorama of K2 and the mountains of the Gasherbrum group .
