Viiratsi (German: Wieratz ) is a former rural community in the east of the Estonian district of Viljandi with an area of ​​213 km². It has 3,746 inhabitants (as of 2006).

In addition to the main village Viiratsi (1350 inhabitants) comprised the rural community of the villages Jõeküla, Kibeküla, Kuudeküla, Loime, Mäeltküla, Mähma, Rebaste, Ridaküla, Ruudiküla, Saareküla, Surva, Tusti, Tõnuküla, Tänassilma , Uusna, Valma, Vana-Võidu, Vanavälja , Vardja, Vasara and Verilaske. There are parish partnerships with Juankoski in Finland and Malung in Sweden .

In the northeast, the rural community bordered on Võrtsjärv . The manor complex of Vana-Võidu from the beginning of the 19th century, which today houses a vocational school, and the former Orthodox church of Tänassilma, which has been partially renovated, are worth seeing .
