Vikingarnas FK was a Swedish football club from Stockholm . The team, which existed briefly at the beginning of the 20th century, was made up of players from several other clubs.

history

Vikingarnas FK was founded in 1908 as a team in which players from some of the clubs belonging to the Idrottsföreningen Kamraterna played together. Under the guidance of Anton Johanson , a football pioneer in Sweden, the team first played friendly games and for this purpose they went on a tour in the Netherlands . In 1910 the club took part in the debut season of the Svenska series , one of the first league competitions in Sweden. There the team finished sixth after four wins in 14 games. Shortly after the start of the following season, she and IFK Eskilstuna withdrew from the game, as a new rule only allowed teams with players from one club. The two were replaced by Göteborgs FF and Mariebergs IK . Presumably the team then disbanded.

The venue for the club's home games was Råsunda IP . In 1912, the 1912 Olympic Games hosted the football competition on the square, and in 1937 the Swedish national stadium Råsunda was built there.
