Viktor Baumgard
Viktor Alexander Wilhelm Baumgard (born August 16, 1836 in Hünfeld , † 1903 ) was a German public prosecutor and parliamentarian.
Life
Viktor Baumgard studied law at the Philipps University of Marburg . In 1856 he became a member of the Corps Teutonia Marburg . After completing his studies, he joined the judicial service of the Electorate of Hesse . After its annexation by Prussia, he became a Prussian civil servant. He became a public prosecutor in Kassel . Most recently until his retirement he was first public prosecutor in Kleve .
From 1877 to 1879 Baumgard sat as a member of the constituency of Kassel 4 (Kassel, Witzenhausen) in the Prussian House of Representatives . He belonged to the faction of the National Liberal Party .
As a poet lawyer he published under the pseudonym Konrad zu Hessen .
